What is included in the install
Removing the old lock, fitting the new lock body and strike, aligning the door so it latches cleanly, fitting batteries, setting your master code and adding your first user codes or fingerprints.
We also pair the lock to your phone app where the model supports it, and show you how to add and remove users before we leave. Most single door jobs are done in 30 to 60 minutes on site.
Are smart locks worth it
The practical wins are no hidden key under the pot, temporary codes for cleaners or trades, and the ability to check the door is locked without driving home.
The trade off is batteries. A good lock warns you weeks before it goes flat and almost all of them keep a mechanical key override, so a dead battery is an inconvenience rather than a lockout.
